The Melbourne and Brisbane venues for this year's Supafest4 have allegedly pulled out just days before the festival kicks off.

Update (6:09pm - Thu 18 Apr): Supafest's Facebook page is already flooded with over 1000 complaints in the first hour from outraged ticket holders after this afternoon's official announcement.

Update (4:45pm - Thu 18 Apr): Supafest organisers have announced that the festival has been postponed to November. (Full Details Here...)

Update (11:36am - Thu 18 Apr): Supafest's PR company has confirmed that while issues are effecting the Melbourne and Brisbane venues, they are not aware of any artists pulling out.

Update (10:55am - Thu 18 Apr): Rumours have started circulating the industry that Supafest might be cancelled altogether.

Update (8:27am - Thu 18 Apr): There are rumours that Supafest's promoters will be making an official announcement regarding the festival's status today. We'll keep you informed here as soon as the news is confirmed.

A spokesperson from Supafest's PR company has confirmed that the Melbourne venue will change, but is yet to hear back from the festival's promoters to confirm whether the rumour about the Brisbane venue pulling out is correct.

A the time of writing, a check of the Brisbane RNA Showgrounds website, where the festival was due to be held, shows that details of Supafest4 appear to indeed have been removed from the site. Perth Arena - Thursday 25th April
Sydney ANZ Stadium - Friday 26th April
Melbourne - Saturday 27th April
Brisbane RNA Showgrounds - Sunday 28th April
