The Darwin Entertainment Centre houses a 1070 seat proscenium arch theatre a 278 seat adaptable theatre a gallery/meeting space, 2 grand foyers, 2 bars, a rehearsal room, and an outdoor performance area supported by state of the art audio visual equipment.
The Playhouse is The Centre's largest performance space with an audience capacity of 985 to 1054 depending on configuration. Some of the biggest acts from Australian and around the world have performed here.
The Studio is a smaller intimate space that is also incredibly flexible. Over the years, The Studio has played host to cabaret performances, theatre, and some of the best musicians from the Territory.
The Gallery is a light, airy and flexible venue that has hosted exhibitions by some of the Territory's most celebrated visual artists
Ideally located between Darwin's world famous Hanuman restaurant and The Centre's Gallery, The Raft is the perfect dry season location for your next event.
The Centre boasts two large and breezy foyers. Our downstairs entrance foyer hosts our Box Office and the downstairs bar.
The Centre boasts two fabulous bars to meet friends over drinks before the show.
